Zonta Shelters Women around the Pacific NorthwestZonta Clubs around District 8 coordinated the giving of support to Women's Shelters around the Pacific Northwest, British Columbia and Canada under the “Zonta Shelters Women” service project. The Zonta Club pf Yakima Valley does not operate any women's shelters. We refer anyone who contacts us to the local Domestic Violence Shelters - the Yakima YWCA or the Lighthouse in Sunnyside for services/shelter. If you'd like to support these shelters and their work, please contact them directly. Learn more about the many years of support for Yakima Shelters like the Yakima YWCA, Rod's House and Sunrise House that Zonta fundraisers have supported through our local Grants and Service Projects.

Pat Reynolds and Danielle Surkatty delivered the bags and enjoyed the tour given by board member Jeff and Director Mike Zink.
